Screening of the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony

Photo: Johannes Granseth / Nobel Peace Center

An alternative way to follow the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony: The Ceremony from the Oslo City Hall will be transmitted live to the public at the Nobel Peace Center.

Time: 10 Dec 2024 12:00 - 13:30 CEST
Place: Nobel Peace Center

While Nihon Hidankyo is receiving the Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo City Hall just across the street, we gather at the Nobel Peace Center to watch the ceremony together on the big screen. Join us in celebrating the Nobel Peace Prize! We will be serving coffee and traditional Norwegian almond cake.

We will be screening the Peace Prize Ceremony on the big screen at the Nobel Peace Center. The peace prize ceremony is broadcasted directly from NRK (Norwegian Broadcasting Cooperation). Speeches in Japanese and English will therefore be subtitled in Norwegian. There are limited number of seats.

A part of Oslo Peace Days

This event is a part of Oslo Peace Days. A week in december where we celebrate peace and human rights. A cooperation with City of Oslo, The Nobel Peace Center, The Norwegian Nobel Institute, PRIO and the University of Oslo.
