The personal information we collect and store are:

E-mail addresses

Since the opening of the museum in 2005, we have offered everyone who wants it a sobscription to our newsletter. Those who have wanted to subscribe to newsletters have provided us with their email address. These addresses are only used to send out newsletters and are processed through the digital marketing service Netflex by Apility. If you would like to sign up for our newsletter, you can do so by sending an email to post@nobelpeacecenter.org

Everyone has the right to have their personal data that we store deleted from us. According to GDPR, we will delete your email address as soon as possible and at the latest within 30 days. To get your information deleted contact: post@nobelpeacecenter.org

Net Use

As an important part of our work in order to create a user-friendly site, we analyse the movements of our visitors on our website. We use Google Analytics and Piwik Pro as tools to analyse the data collected from our website.

Google Analytics and Piwik Pro use information capsules/cookies (small text files that are sent and saved on your computer by the website), that register the users’ IP-address, and provide information to the website owners about how their site is being used and how well it is performing. Examples of how the collected data are being used; analyse traffic on website, duration of their website session, which website users are originating from, and the type of web browser being used.

The data collected by the information capsules/cookies on our website cannot be linked back to you as an individual.

An IP address is defined as personal information because it can be traced back to a specific hardware and to you as an individual. TRY-huset use Google Analytics’ tracking code which anonymizes your IP address before the collected data is stored and processed by Google. The IP address can therefore not be used to identify the individual user.

The data collected by Google Analytics are stored on Googles’ own servers in the United States, and the data is protected under the Google Privacy Policy.

The data collected by Piwik Pro is hosted on a solution on Microsoft Azure in Germany/Netherlands/United States/Hong Kong/ElastX in Sweden, and the data is stored for 14/25 months. The purpose of data processing: analytics and conversion tracking based on consent. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR.

According to the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 12, no one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference in privacy, family, home or correspondence, or for attacks on honor and reputation. Everyone has the right to the protection of the law against such interference or such attacks.
