Nobel Peace Prize Exhibition 2024: Press Preview
Monday, December 9, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Each year, the Nobel Peace Center creates a new exhibition about the Nobel Peace Prize laureate. This exhibition highlights Nihon Hidankyo and the powerful stories of the Hibakusha: the survivors of the nuclear bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945. The exhibition opens to the public Thursday 12 December.
No accreditation required.
Save the Children’s Peace Prize Celebration
Tuesday, December 10, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM
A show created by and for children, with representatives of the peace prize winner as honored guests. Children from 7th grade will be the audience. Open to accredited press. Apply for accreditation no later than Monday, December 2, by sending an email with your name, publication, and date of birth to: fredsprisfesten@reddbarna.no

Viewing of the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony

The Nobel Peace Center shows the Peace Prize ceremony from Oslo City Hall on screen to the public.
No accreditation required.
Torchlight procession for the Nobel Peace Prize 2024
Tuesday, December 10, from 5:45 PM to 7:00 PM
For the first time, the torchlight procession for the Nobel Peace Prize will start outside the Nobel Peace Center. Norwegian artist Jonas Alaska will entertain during the event. The program starts at 5:45 PM, and the procession will begin at 6:15 PM. The procession ends outside the Grand Hotel, where this year's Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Nihon Hidankyo, will be honored.
