Nobel Peace Talks: On the history of feminism from Bertha von Suttner to Narges Mohammadi

From the first female Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Bertha von Suttner, to the newest, Narges Mohammadi, runs a read thread: The fight for equal rights and against suppression, and for the acknowledgement that human rights are women’s rights.

Martha Breen, one of Norway most famous feminists and author of a number of books on women’s history and feminist, will be speaking at the Nobel Peace Center on Wednesday 15 May.

The talk will be in Norwegian.

The museum will be open until 9:00 PM every Wednesday. Guided tours and entry to the exhibitions are included in the event ticket. So if you visit us on Wednesday evening, you can get a lot more out of your visit.
