At exactly 11.00 CEST on Friday 7 October, the chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, Berit Reiss-Andersen will announce the news the world is waiting for: Who will be awarded this year’s Nobel Peace Prize?

The Nobel Peace Center is open from 10:00 to 17:00, admission is free between 10:00 and 12:00.

Programme:

11.00 am: The announcement of this year’s Nobel Peace Prize laureate will be live streamed to the audience inside the museum. 

12.00 am: The Peace Dove will fly from our windows, bringing forth the good news of the week: the announcement of a new Nobel Peace Prize laureate. Executive Director Kjersti Fløgstad comments on the prize.
