SECOND DIALOGUE MEETING ON FOOD AND PEACE

Food and Peace: Evidence, Challenges and Opportunities is the second in a series of dialogue meetings co-hosted by the Nobel Peace Center and the World Food Programme, the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize laureate.

Exploring the relationship between food security and peace, this dialogue will discuss available evidence and research of the link between food security, peace and conflict, as well as ongoing initiatives to expand the evidence base and devise a systematic method to measure peace contributions. Challenges and gaps in knowledge will be identified and discussed and next steps will be identified.
